The Freedom Walk at Patriots Park:

The Freedom Walk in Patriots Park was created to commemorate the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

The memorial was conceived by the 2002 Leadership Class of Sarasota and features an inspiring memorial with stations, pillars and brick pavers. Today, VABI overseas the Freedom Walk and provides the opportunity for you to honor a loved one by purchasing a memorial brick.

Honor Your Loved One

Honor your loved one by purchasing a memorial brick paver inscribed and installed at Patriots Park.
You can select the location of your brick and write your personal dedication in memory of a loved one.

Venetian Waterway Park:

Along the length of the Venetian Waterway Park, picnic tables are available for use by visitors. Popular with visitors, each can be dedicated to the memory of someone, or can simply be a gift given by someone who wants to provide a restful spot for future park users to view. You can provide a park amenity which will be of lasting benefit for future generations!

The picnic tables are priced at $500 each. The picnic tables are constructed from recycled plastic materials and will last for many years. Included in the purchase price is routine maintenance.
